Mac Brydon, Joseph Holder & Ben Morris are the 2016 Tom Little Scholarship Recipients.

Mac Brydon played 7 years of South Park baseball and basketball, and was a member of the NC Dixie Youth Baseball state champion coach pitch team in 2007.  Mac will attend Mercer University as a preferred walk-on for basketball.  Among other things, Mac has been a short-term missionery at an overnight Christian camp for special needs individuals and their families.

Joseph Holder played 4 seasons of South Park baseball.  Joseph was a member of the National Honor Society, an accomplished clarinet and saxophone player and the founder of a jazz ensemble that plays for the enjoyment of residents at local nursing home facilities.  He will attend NC State University.

Ben Morris played multiple seasons of South Park football and baseball.  Ben was a two year captain of the South Meck lacrosse team, a member of student government and an Eagle Scount.  He will attend Clemson University as a member of the Calhoun Honors College (engineering).

 The Tom Little Scholarship is named after our SPYA founder and given annually to a graduating senior(s) who participated in at least one season of SPYA athletics.
