Tom Little Scholarship
A $500 Tom Little Scholarship is awarded to a rising college freshman each year. If you have played a sport with SPYA and you are interested in applying, please contact Lynn Tucker, Treasurer@carolina.rr.com. The deadline for applying is July 15 of each year.

Tom Little Scholarship Winners for 2009!
Congratulations to Derek and Brian Meachum who will share the Tom Little Scholarship award in Fall 2009. They are twins who played football and basketball for SPYA and recently graduated from South Meck High School. Derek will be attending East Carolina and Brian is going to UNC-Charlotte. Good luck to both of our winners!

SPYA Annual Meeting
The South Park Youth Association annual meeting will be Sunday, March 28, 2010, at 1915 Rexford Road, Suite 350 at 7:30 pm. The meeting is open to all SPYA members. Sports commissioners will give their reports, and new board members will be elected. New directors are needed for several positions. Please consider joining the board, and contact Keith Register at 704-544-1809, if you are willing to serve
